The Foundation is Nearly Complete at Empire Residences
We are hitting another significant milestone in construction at Empire Residences. The foundation and the walls of the parking garage and storage spaces for the building are nearly complete. Wadman Construction is finalizing the forms for the concrete walls and columns at the north end, at the garage entrance. Once the walls and floor are done, they can begin the installation of the post-tension slab floor of Level One (the garage ceiling).
Normally, a parking garage is not a whole lot to get excited about, but at Empire Residences, we are very proud of our design for the storage spaces adjacent to the parking spaces. Storage is often overlooked at many condominium buildings, or at least not a priority. At Empire Residences, we have a great solution that enables owners to keep all their extra gear right by their car. Easily store, and then load road bikes, mountain bikes, bike racks for the car, golf clubs, sleds, extra ski gear, etc., right from the spacious storage space to your vehicle. Each Residence will have its own lockable, private, secure storage space.
And… We are the only building in the greater Park City area (that we know of) that has designed the capacity for electric car charging for each Residence. While this is only starting to be included on a limited basis in some new construction, we see this as a must-have in the very near future, and we are planning accordingly. Just wait until we get another five years down the road, and everyone is trying to add car charging to existing properties! It will become a common problem and will be extremely expensive and challenging to do. Just another way that Empire Residences sets itself apart from all other existing and new properties.
